The Bible tells us what the Magi did on the first Christmas shortly after our Lord was born. “On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh” (Matthew 2:11).

Let us do the same thing as the Magi! Let us all give a gift to Jesus for Christmas through a special offering to the church. Would you consider giving a gift to one, two or all three of these needs:

(1) You may feel led to give a gift to missions through the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and/or our Global Impact Ministries partners. No doubt, God is pleased when we give to share His gospel here in DFW and around the world. Please note the P.S. from Tammy Chan and Grand Prairie Homeless’ request of us!

(2) Help a needy person or family, inside or outside our church! People are hurting in this day of financial difficulties, layoffs, sickness and unemployment.

(3) God may lead you to give a special gift to the Oaks! You may feel led to give a double tithe, a one-time large gift or increase your percentage of giving to support the ministry of the church.

It is His birthday celebration - give Jesus a gift through your church!
